I wanted to start off 2014 with a bang, and so with some of the leftovers from December, my Christmas bonus, and everything else I had to spare I dropped a bomb on my student loans. In one fell swoop I paid off over 10% of what I had left. Wow that felt good. So cheers for less interest going to the banks in 2014.
My number one goal for 2014 is to pay off the remainder of my student loans. I’ll have more on that in a later post on my 2014 goals.
Here are this month’s tally’s.
Student Loans Remaining: $20,084.17 (-$2,445.82)
Rental House Mortgage: $110,371.66 (-$247.95)
Grand Total: $130,455.83 (-$2,693.77)
Total Debt Paid off this Year: $2,693.77
I love that little whip that I’ve added to the very end of my graphs below! The momentum has been building for a long time, here comes the boom.
